Gilda Marx introduced and patented Breathables, a new breakthrough in a body-wear fashion. Breathables lining is made with Dupont’s CoolMax fiber. Breathables body-wear has superior wicking ability to help perspiration away from the body, keeping it cooler, drier and more comfortable. In addition, the corporation produced and distributed fitness tapes and accessories.
The corporation had a home office in Los Angeles, employed over 200 people throughout the United States, and had six showroom locations in the major U.S. cities of New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles and Charlotte.
In the late nineties the company was sold and Gilda moved on to retirement after her labor of love.
